摘要
This paper, based on the contributions of the studies developed by Michel Foucault and the Studies of Genders, aims to discuss the gendering of teaching in Early Childhood Education from the questioning of discourses present in teacher training books for this stage of education. From the perspective of the discourse analysis, we analyzed the following works: Affection and emotions on daily Kindergarten Education, and "Around the large table": Ana's educational practice. In order to conduct the analysis, the article is organized into two units thus entitled: "Passion for the profession, 'moral self' and versatility: following the examples of a (female) teacher" and "Affections, emotions and care with the 'lower floor', because everything else is just pedagogy". Upon analysis, we can state that the discourses about affection, versatility and relational skills that Kindergarten (female) teachers must assume a central role in the material researched. The works operate discursively in the gendering of kindergarten teaching and in defining a teacher profile characterized as being naturally female. Thus, we discuss the forms in which books, invested with moral prescriptions and regulations, by means of gendered discourses, operate in the ruling of kindergarten teaching, and teaching faculty to conduct their lives and the lives of children with the aim of becoming an exemplary teacher.
