摘要
Certain medicinally important pyridinium oximes like pyridine-4-aldoxime, pyridine-2-aldoxime methylacetate and pyridine-2-aldoxime methylemethanesulphonate have been electrochemically studied by employing d.c. polarographic, cyclic voltammetric, a.c. polarographic, differential pulse polarographic and rotating ring disc voltammetric techniques in the supporting electrolytes of pH ranging from 2.0 to 12.0. Millicoulometry has been employed for the determination of number of electrons. Kinetic parameters such as diffusion coefficients and heterogenous forward rate constants are evaluated and reported. Differential pulse polarographic technique has been employed to describe an analytical procedure for the estimation of the compounds.
