摘要
This paper investigates the presence of the work of Philo of Alexandria in the Colloquium Heptaplomeres by Jean Bodin, which like other Renaissance scholars' colloquiums aims at discovering the "true religion", without being conclusive. Through the character of the Hebrew sage - Bodin's probable spokesman - the author retrieves the Alexandrian's vision on wisdom as a universal harmony revealer, allegorical exegesis as "philosophizing with symbols" and the role of the law, which in both authors connects the divine and the human. We consider that this decision is based on the political intention resemblance between Philonian syncretism and humanistic irenicism.
