摘要：
A new species of spionid polychaete, dwelling in brackish waters (Etang du Prevost, Herault) and belonging to the genus Boccardia is described. This species, named B. semibranchiata because gills are present only on the anterior half of the body, is closely related to B. jubata Rainer and to New Zealand specimens of B. chilensis Blake and Kudenov, which differ somewhat from the Chilean specimens. The description of B. semibranchiata is liable to invalidate the synonymy between B. jubata and B. chilensis proposed by Read.
