ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY TEACHING BRAZILIAN: AN ACCELERATED EXPANSION PROCESS

摘要
The issue of Environmental Education is not a recent topic elementary educational establishments, however, efforts for the implementation of concrete programmes, guidelines and suggestions with a view to encourage it or promote it has been minimal. Since the years 90 of the last century Brazil is taking the initiatives which are currently gaining strength on the public diary. A record certifying this is the National Program for Environmental Education (ProNEA), launched at the beginning of the current federal government. However, in order to characterize and implement policies and programmes specific to the industry, it is necessary to produce inputs inherent in the state of the art environmental education in the Brazilian education system. In another aspect, we must establish a process of comprehensive and systematic assessment of the access, the content, quality and the final results of the Environmental Education. Based on the report published by INEP in 2006 - on the Environmental Education in Brazil - this article intends to contribute to the evaluation as to the access.
