摘要
A unified approach for calculating the low and high frequency, and the transient performance of a network of grounding conductors is given. Results which are derived first in the frequency domain, are converted to the time domain by Fast Fourier Transform algorithms. A grounding system is modeled by an ensemble of thin-wire conductor segments. The computer model used to determine the electric fields and current distribution in and around a grounding system is described and its main limitations discussed. © 1990 IEEE
