摘要
The treatment of childhood cancer has improved significantly in recent years. Although children do tolerate the acute toxicities of treatment surprisingly well, late effects have been identified in an increasing number of survivors. As this population of children and young adults continues to grow, it is essential for health professionals to monitor and treat long-term survivors for the medical and psychological consequences of their curative therapy. This article reviews these complications and outlines recommendations for screening.
