STOMATOPOD CRUSTACEA FROM TOBAGO, WEST-INDIES

Eleven shore species of stomatopods are reported from localities around Tobago; only two species, Gonodactylus oerstedii Hansen and G. bredini Manning, had been recorded previously from the island. Gonodactylus caribbaeus and Nannosquilla tobagoensis are described as new. Lysiosquilla biminiensis Bigelow is referred to the new genus Bigelowina, and Lysiosquilla floridensis Manning is removed from the synonymy of L. digueti Coutiere and is transferred to the new genus Alachosquilla; both of these species had been referred to Acanthosquilla.
