摘要：

The present investigation aims at establishing the electrochemical performances of the RuO2 coatings for the hydrogen evolution reaction. In order to characterize the surface state of the studied electrodes voltammetric and BET measurements have been carried. out. The polarization studies allowed us to propose a mechanism for the hydrogen evolution reaction on the nickel RuO2 coated cathodes in alkaline media.
