摘要：

To know the learning styles of the students of the Biology Program of the Higher Studies Faculty Iztacala of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, the Reid questionnaire, 1993. Modality was applied to a sample of 221 students. The results show six different styles wherein four are considered to be of higher preference, being these: visual, tactile, kinesthetic and group learning. Associated to these results, the students refer their preferences based on the activities performed in the class. This work has the intention of providing elements to the teacher for the design of the most adequate teaching methodology, that enables optimizing the learning style of his/her students and attaining a higher cognitive achievement.
