OPTIMIZATION OF THE OPTICAL METHOD OF CAUSTICS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF STRESS INTENSITY FACTORS

A detailed guide to the practical application of the optical method of caustics to stress intensity factor measurement is provided which should prove invaluable to the experimenter using this technique.
