A DIGITAL PROCESSOR FOR NUCLEAR SPECTROSCOPY WITH CRYOGENIC DETECTORS

摘要
A description of a digital signal processing system designed for nuclear sectroscopy studies with low temperature particle detectors is given. The results of test experiments both with mu-calorimeters and with a traditional X-ray germanium detector show the efficiency and the flexibility of the system. The energy resolution and the pileup rejection efficiency obtained by the digital method with the germanium detector are superior to the typical performance of analogic hardware. Digitally obtained spectra using a rhenium cryogenic detector are shown.
