摘要
The paper discusses the importance of the diffusion and electric fields existing around the nuclei in producing an ordered deposition of the copper crystals by a potentiostatic double-pulse technique from acidified sulfate baths onto isotropic glassy graphite cathodes. It was shown that because of the short duration of the nucleation pulses (0. 025-0. 1 sec), diffusion fields cannot develop, and hence cannot be responsible for the 'far'-range order in the distribution of crystallization sites that extends over distances of up to 100 mu m.
