摘要
Too often the presence of photographers and photography is an import ant element of the cinematographic discourse, especially on war's movies. The photography is a representation of reality and in the case of photo-document (such as war photography) pretends to be a true expression of it. But the photography objectivity can be altered by the author through technology or when is used for any other purpose than to which was conceived. We pay attention on the moral supporting or personal interest that can cause such manipulations. We base our remarks on the activities of a war journalist during Nicaraguan 1979 conflict that is presented in the film Under fire (Roger Spottiswoode, 1983). The kind of photography the journalist performs, his intentions when taking the photography and the ethic of his behavior offer many nuances to our analysis.
