Profile of internet users in cybercafes in Carirubana Municipality of Falcon state

With the advance of technology and the emergence of powerful reporting tools is very common now to see how society is somewhat dependent on technological tools like the internet, taking into account that access to information is available to all because of the existence of public and private spaces called cafes. This is a field descriptive type study, with non-experimental design, which scope was to determine the internet users profile, in the Municipality Carirubana of Falcon state. It was designed a questionnaire which was applied to 240 internet users who attended all the cybercafes at the Carirubama Municipality. The results show that in the cybercafes investigated most of the users can be classified into three different profiles: Amateur Profile, with little interest in internet cafes; Addictive Profile, showing marked addictive traits with low attention to the standard; and Technical Profile, showing a well marked tendency in the technical thinking, and attention to personal improvement standard.
