摘要
A thermodynamic description of the Cr-Fe-Mn-N system is presented. It is based on previous thermodynamic evaluations of the lower order systems. Experimental data on equilibria in the quatenary system were taken into account for an evaluation of thermodynamic parameters describing the Gibbs energy of individual phases. From the thermodynamic description the solubility of N in Cr-Fe-Mn alloys is recalculated with reasonable accuracy. Calculations are compared with experimental data in a number of figures, showing good agreement in most cases. A calculated Fe-18%Cr-18%Mn-N phase diagram is presented.
