摘要
The function of the mitochondrial adenine nucleotide (adN) transport system is to import ADP from the cytosol and to export the ATP generated by oxidative phosphorylation. This review (188 references) covers the following aspects of the adN translocator: methodological approaches; kinetic properties and metabolic control of adN transport; topological properties of the adN translocator; the response of the mitochondrial membrane to the functioning of the adN translocator; biogenesis of the adN translocator; resolution of the components of the adN translocator; carrier models for adN transport.
