摘要：
Typical problem areas for cathodic protection of gigantic concrete offshore structures are outlined, followed by practical solutions of problems mainly based on experience with the Statfjord ″B″ and ″C″ CONDEEP platforms. Computer-aided design of sacrificial anodes is presented, a monitoring philosophy is outlined, new criteria for paint breakdown on painted steel items for 30 years life is presented, and the latest research data regarding rebar corrosion are discussed.
