摘要
On the basis of solution theory and surface thermodynamics, an activity coefficient model for the adsorbed phase with no adjustable parameters is presented. In combination with the phase-exchange adsorption model, it can predict the equilibrium data of nonideal adsorption from binary liquid mixtures. Five systems with nonideal adsorbed phases are tested, The results are satisfactory. © 1990, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
