VALUES, ATTITUDES TOWARDS ALCOHOL AND CONSUMPTION IN MALE ADOLESCENTS

摘要
In this paper we analyze variables potentially related to alcohol consumption in adolescents. The attitudes towards alcohol are important variables predicting consumption. Other predictors are values. In this survey we present the results, in a sample of adolescents (n = 382), with two instruments: the Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ) and the Attitudes towards Alcohol Scale. The Manova shows that there are significant differences associated with the four dimensions of alcohol attitudes between consumers and non-consumers. Finally, a series of stepwise multiple regressions were computed with Attitudes towards Alcohol scales as dependent variables and Values as predictors.
