摘要
Synthetic and spectroscopic features of some heterometallic binuclear organoborane derivatives with monofunctional bidentate thiosemicarbazones and semicarbazones derived from the condensation of 2-pyridine carbaldehyde, 2-furfuraldehyde, 2-thiophenecarbaldehyde, 2-cinnamaldehyde and 3-indolecarbaldehyde with thiosemicarbazide and semicarbazide hydrochloride have been carried out in 1:1:1 molar ratio. The resulting derivatives of the types [GRAPHICS] and [GRAPHICS] (where TSCz-1 and SCz-1 represent the anions of thiosemicarbazone and semicarbazone) are coloured solids and non-electrolytic in nature. On the basis of analytical data, IR, H-1, C-13 and B-11 NMR spectral studies, a tricoordinated environment for boron and a tetra-coordinated environment around aluminum may be assigned to the resulting binuclear complexes.
