摘要
A shake-flask method is presented which uses a three-phase model to measure octanol-water and cyclodextrin-water partition coefficients. Equations are derived which account for all equilibria and which relate the cyclodextrin-water partition coefficient to the formation constant for a cyclodextrin-solute complex. The partition coefficients of three aromatic solutes were determined and these values compared well with previously published partition coefficients. Solute concentration was determined using liquid chromatography.
