摘要
This research investigated : how internal and external social actors perceive the influence of the cultural phenomenon of steers-bumbas for Sustainable Local Development (DLS) of the city of Parintins? The general objective was to identify the perceptions of social actors on the influence of the cultural phenomenon of steers for the DLS, considering the emergence of social actors, network building, the construction of collective projects and institutionalization projects. It is justified by the value that this phenomenon represents for the local community and to create a space for expression, reflection and production of knowledge about the local reality. The assumptions of the study were : A-There are elements of Brazilian culture in the context of steers-bumbas, B-The indigenous Amazonian culture gives meaning to the elements that enable the construction of steers-bumbas, and C-The steers-bumbas is turning into commodity subsume the needs of the capital. The analytical reference is based mainly on Buarque (1999), Albuquerque (1998), Teisserenc (1994), Motta (1997) and Aktouf (1996.2007). We used qualitative methodology. It is verified by the discourse of social actors involved, the lack of internalization of the concept of the DLS.
