摘要：

Information Technologies and Communication Technology ( TIC), represented by the Internet and its tools are present in several areas of human knowledge. When present in the medical field is called Telemedicine. Several activities can be developed through these resources, including a second medical opinion, contact with specialists, physician-patient interaction, distance education, etc. This article highlights the importance of Distance Education, as a means of telemedicine, in order to promote continued professional learning.
