摘要
The effects of three kinds of potential moderators (urban vs rural background, work values, enrichment needs) of the relationship between job enrichment and work attitudes were examined among 71 employees of a variety of British companies. Job enrichment was related to favourable attitudes, irrespective of the urban or rural background of the employees. Work values failed to moderate the relationship between enrichment and attitudes. However, as predicted, enrichment needs interacted with enrichment to affect individual differences in attitudes. Implications of these findings for job redesign schemes are developed.
