摘要
The authors report experimental evidence for the formation of poly-1,2-azepines as the primary product of the polymerization of secondary amines. The ease of oxidation of these polymers is investigated in view of the formation of conducting polymers. On the basis of the evidence presented, poly-1,2-azepines are established to be the primary products of the photopolymerization of phenyl azides. The polymers are easily oxidized to delocalized charged species, yielding conducting polymers that can be formed in films with pattern structures. 24 Refs.
