The Article is written to the one hundred anniversary of L. I. Bozhovich's birthday, the outstanding psy - chologist of the XX-th century. L. I. Bozhovich was an adherent of L. S. Vygotsky. In the Article Bozhovich's biography's events are described in historical context. The Article is written on the base of archive materials.
