摘要
For the purpose of calculating Carter's coefficient and the permeance waves of slotting the scalar potential of the air gap held is computed using Fourier series. The slot wedges consist of magnetic material with a constant permeability. The air gap is described by polar coordinates in order to get solutions applicable to machines possessing a large air gap.
