摘要
The intention of the present text is to analyze the possibilities opened by historical analysis for the renewal of the problems, methods and sources of the History of Brazilian Education. To accomplish that, it is emphasized the influence of the thinkers to the movement of renewal of education known as escolanovistas in the production of education in Brazil and the contributions to the History of Education granted by researchers open to the dialogue with new historiographic schools.
