摘要
The seed lipid constituents (free fatty acids, sterols and alkanes) from 60 samples of five genera of Nicotianeae were analyzed. Palmitic, oleic and linoleic were the major components in all species studied. Sitosterol was the main component of the sterol fraction. Eighteen n-alkanes were analyzed; hentriacontane and tritriacontane predominated in most species. Similarities in fatty acid and alkane compositions support the opinion that Bouchetia and Nierembergia are closely related.
