摘要
The electronic structure of a germanium (100) oriented slab with an adsorbed NaCl monolayer has been calculated using the LCAO semi-empirical procedure. The calculations were performed for four sets of parameters describing the interactions at the interface. The calculated results were compared with UPS spectra for this system. It has been found, that the interactions between chlorine ions and germanium are considerably stronger when the NaCl coverage is lower than one monolayer.
