The forthcoming Mobile WARC to be held in Geneva in September 1987 is likely to determine the way in which mobile services develop for the foreseeable future. The impact of the WARC on international maritime and aeronautical mobile satellite communications is likely to be particularly crucial. In this article, Mr Lundberg outlines INMARSAT's views on the future of mobile satellite services. © 1987.
