INSTRUCTIONAL UNIVERSITY TEXT: CONSTRUCTIVE PROPOSAL

The main goal of this article is to publicize the proposal of creating textbooks or instructional textbooks for the teaching-learning process in Venezuelan Higher Education by Universidad Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacin (URBE). In order to fulfil this goal, a bibliographical review of theoretical principles proposed by Regional Center for Book Development in Latin America and the Caribbean (CERLALC-UNESCO in Spanish), as well as the Venezuelan Ministry of Culture and theorists Rene Muinos, Ada Sanchez, among others was carried out. A theoretical-practical comparison was done and data obtained from the study done to URBE textbook users is showed.
