摘要:
Pt(NH//3)//4**2** plus was impregnated onto silica by use of an ion exchange method and reduced in hydrogen at 673 K. The platinum content of the as-received material is 6. 3 plus or minus 0. 1% by weight (atomic absorption, spectrophotometry, proton-induced x-ray emission). Weight loss on heating to 413 K is 0. 1% and to 1273 K is 4. 2 plus or minus 0. 1%. BET surface areas of the support in its original state and of EUROPT-1 are 364 plus or minus 10 and 185 plus or minus 5 m**2g** minus **1 respectively. Similar values for the catalyst are given by a gas chromatographic method and by mercury porosimetry. EXAFS spectroscopy shows that the platinum-containing particles in the as-received material are in the form of disordered oxide.
