摘要
The objective of the work described in this paper is the application of synchrotron radiation to coronary angiography, and to angiography generally. The evaluation of this method with human subjects is presently delayed by the absence at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (SSRL) of a tunable beam of adequate horizontal width. A clinical evaluation of the method at SSRL must await the development of such a beam. The authors of this paper are attempting to create a wide beam at SSRL, or elsewhere, for the rapid exploration of this method.
