Radiotherapy has been associated with various morbid problems. We report a case of large vessel rupture early, after radiation for malignancy of the hypopharynx. The possible etiopathogenesis is discussed with the management of the patient. The case is unusual as the damage to the large vessel is seen soon after the conclusion of the radiation therapy. The aim of the report is to bring forth a radiation associated complication.
