摘要
An analysis of multistep finite length eccentric journal bearings by a semianalytical finite element method is presented. Numerical results for the pressure distribution, Sommerfeld number and attitude angle in the laminar regime are compared with experimental results for three kinds of bearings whose step parameters are 1. 0, 2. 0 and 3. 0. Good agreement is obtained between the numerical and experimental results.
