摘要
An optimization technique is presented for the design of two-channel lattice-structure perfect-reconstruction filter banks with powers-of-two coefficients. The filter coefficients are represented by a canonic signed-digit (CSD) code. The proposed technique requires the original optimal infinite-precision coefficients as the starting point, and searches for the set of CSD coefficients that minimizes the peak stopband ripple. Design examples are given to show that perfect-reconstruction filter banks with good filtering performance can be obtained.
