摘要
Faults are defined as physical parameter modifications which influence the dynamic behaviour of the structure under consideration. Possible quantities and measures and their sensitivities with respect to fault detection are discussed, taking into account a change in the number of degrees of freedom of the model. Fault size, order of normal modes, wavelengths, boundary conditions and subsystems are discussed in this context as influencing the detection of possible damage. © 1991.
