摘要
We have continued to develop our high-efficiency, high-power Super-Reltron microwave tubes. We have now achieved 600 MW and > 200 J/pulse with our 1 GHz tube, and > 350 MW at nearly 50% power efficiency with our 3 GHz tube. We have also developed a tunable version of our 3 GHz tube which has a 3 dB tuning range of +/- 5% about the center frequency. We discuss these experimental results in this paper, and present a modified performance chart which facilitates tube design for various applications.
