摘要：

This essay analizes the theoretical-fictional position Horacio Quiroga was able to build according to the photographic art. Quiroga develops an imaginary that it shows as technology closely linked with death. This idea would be associated with the appearance of the double in the photographic image, mere referent, in which the connotation (second encoded message) transforms the photography (object) into languaje.
