摘要：

This paper brings a contribution to the research field of geography and international security through an interdisciplinary dialogue with the International Relations and Strategic Studies/Security and Defense Studies. To illustrate the possibilities of a geographical approach to security, were discussed the relationship between security, region and border from an updated literature review.
