摘要：

The crystal structure of the title compound (C11H8OCl2) has been determined from X-ray diffraction data. The compound crystallises in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with four molecules in a cell of dimensions a = 8.938(2), b = 5.829(2), c = 19.477(5)A-degrees and beta = 100.97(2)-degrees. Full matrix least squares refinement gave a final R value of 0.062 for 694 independent observed reflections. The structure is essentially an example of fused ring system. The five membered rings conform to envelopes.
