摘要：
A diagnostic character of the Albo-Cenomanian ichthyopterygian species Platypterygius campylodon (Carter, 1846), i.e. particular dental cross-sections, occurs in fact among nearly all Cretaceous forms, but seems to be absent among older taxa. Thus, this feature cannot be considered as characteristic of Platypterygius campylodon but suggests that all Cretaceous Ichthyopterygia may be included in a single supraspecific taxon. © 1990.
