摘要
An experimental apparatus is described permitting the recording of two-dimensional NQR images without use of any magnetic fields or magnetic field gradients. The probehead consists of a surface coil and a device for the step-by-step revolution of the sample which is positioned in the fringe field of the surface coil. Using the rotating-frame zeugmatography technique, a series of projections across the sample can be reconstructed by the aid of a special deconvolution algorithm. The final image is produced by the aid of a backprojection procedure. As no readout gradients are applied, the full spectroscopic information remains accessible. The use of NQR images for rendering the distribution of stress or temperature gradients via spectral parameters is discussed.
