摘要：

It intends to present thirteen theses that may structure the presence of Capoeira in contemporary society. The presentation in the form of theses is due to the possibilities of giving consequences to the reflections presented. The indications appear as paradigms for the researches that involve this theme in the social context in which they are inserted. We conclude, therefore, by the need to consider the social context that culture is produced as an active agent in the process of knowledge production.
