ON THEORY OF OPTOACOUSTIC EFFECT IN LIQUID DISPERSE SYSTEMS

摘要
A theoretical model for optical sound generation in liquids containing a disperse substance in the form of fine particles or droplets is proposed. It is shown that the results of calculations conducted earlier for homogeneous liquids can be used to describe the OA-effect in disperse systems if an effective function of thermal evolution time dependence is brought into consideration. Revealed laws of acoustic signals formation are used for the explanation of experimental data on optical generation of sound in water in the vicinity of 4-degrees-C, corresponding to the point of its maximum density.
