摘要
An expansion apparatus has been used to measure the density of liquid cyclopentane, from 193 to 298 K and pressures up to 104 MPa. The experimental results have been correlated in terms of the Strobridge equation of state, which has been used to estimate several properties of the compressed liquid. Other semitheoretical and theoretical equations of state have been used to predict high pressure results as well as vapor-liquid equilibrium and second virial coefficients. Comparisons with experimental data are reported in all the cases.
