INERTIAL MASS OF A FLUXON IN A DEFORMABLE SUPERCONDUCTOR

摘要
The time-dependent strain fields induced by a fluxon moving through a deformable superconductor are shown to produce an important contribution to the inertial mass of the fluxon. For a high-T(c) superconductor this contribution amounts to about 10(10) electron masses per cm of the flux line.
