摘要
In this study, additives which are used in engine oils, their properties and interactions between each other are reviewed in the literature. In addition to additive properties, their chemical types and ratios are also presented. Nowadays, there are a number of research studies going on about additives and their effects on friction and wear are being examined in detail. The results, of which obtained from the publications about additives that are used in different combinations and ratios are summarized.
